Yolande Donlan

Yolande Donlan (born June 2, 1920 in Jersey City, New Jersey) is an American actress who has worked extensively in the United Kingdom.

She, the daughter of James Donlan, who was a hard working character actor in Hollywood films of the 1930s. It had some uncredited roles in films including Pennies From Heaven and she thought that Love finds Andy Hardy immediately following each death in 1938 father's house, but these have not been confirmed.

Each early credited roles include the horror film The Devil bat 1940 the French maid and she followed this up with small roles in several, generally not similar as French-accented maid characters.

A notable by Garson Kanin born yesterday, Billie Dawn as a success of a Boston stage production was the start of bigger things for Donlan. The production transferred to London's West End for a long run. Donlan was initially denied a work permit due to complaints from Equity Actors to star in the lead in Peter Pan, who felt that the British star should have the lead.

After it ended, began accepting film work in the United Kingdom and remained Donlan. After traveller's Joy in 1949, Donlan worked for the director Val Guest in several films including Mister Drake's Duck, Penny princess (in the title role) and the body said no.
