Jeanne Fusier-Gir
Jeanne Fusier-Gir was born on April 22, 1885 in Paris IXe and died on 24 April 1973 in Maisons-Laffitte (Yvelines), is a French actress.
Daughter of the theatre artist Leon Fusier, Jeanne Fusier was a pupil of Firmin Gémier, and one of the favourite performers of Sacha Guitry.
In The lame devil, she was Marie-Thérèse Fungus, a love of young Talleyrand, in The Poison, the florist. In theater, she has performed in operettas and plays such as No No Nanette by Vincent Youmans; A night at home, Mrs. John of Létraz; a long time ago that I love you Jacques Deval; A woman too honest for Armand Salacrou; Coralie and Ciede Maurice Hennequin and Albin Valabrègue, etc
In the film, Pauline Carton and Alice Tissot, she played a "secondary role" in a multitude of films, directed by Loubignac, Couzinet, Cammage... and gained popularity after the public likes to find, thanks to the vivacity of his playing and his voice unmistakable. In You saved my life, countess of Morhange, she fell in love with Fernandel, as elsewhere in The five sub of Lavarède of Maurice Cammage. She turned also, notably, with Henri-Georges Clouzot.
