Glenn Hughes
Glenn Hughes ' career started in 1969 as bass player and lead singer of the British Rock band Trapeze. Members include Mel Galley (guitar, Whitesnake & Phenomena) and Dave Holland (drums, Judas Priest) were. From 1973 to 1976, he was the Bassist for the hard rock band Deep Purple. Three Studio albums were recorded at this time (Burn, Stormbringer, Come taste the Band), before Deep Purple disbanded shortly before the death of guitarist Tommy Bolin in 1976. Hughes dynamic head voice, coined, along with the bluesy Organ by David Coverdale the Sound of Deep Purple in this time.
